Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (abbreviated as CISCE) is a national level, private, Board of School education in India that conducts the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education and the Indian School Certificate examinations for Class X and Class XII respectively. It was established in 1958.

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) is an examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, a private, non-governmental board of school education in India, for class 10, i.e., grade 10. It has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986 (India), through the medium of English. It was affiliated to French Board of Examination before 1986.

The subjects that are offered are divided into three groups. Group I includes Compulsory Subjects —English, History & Civics, & Geography, and Indian Language, Group II which includes any two from Mathematics, Science (Physics, Biology, Chemistry) as separate subjects, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Agricultural Science, Commercial Studies, Technical Drawing, A Modern Foreign Language, A Classical Language and Economics, and Group III has any one from Computer Applications, Economic Applications, Commercial Applications, Art, Performing Arts, Home Science, Cookery, Fashion Designing, Physical Education, Technical Drawing Applications, Yoga, and Environmental Applications. All subjects have components of internal assessment, that are carried out by schools, on the basis of assignments/project work, practicals and coursework. There is 20% weightage for internal assessment in group I and II and 50% weightage for group III.

The syllabus is skill & knowledge oriented and content and memory based. Regular educational visits and field trips are also a part of the curriculum. A Simple opportunity is given to every child, to develop creativity in the form of art, music and dance which are incorporated in the daily schedule. The school follows ICSE syllabus and the students are prepared to appear for the Indian certificate of secondary education (ICSE) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. In this syllabus there are 7 papers out of which English is compulsory and all other subjects are electives. In the elective part from the regular subjects like life physical Science and the social science also gives emphasis to subjects like moral science, computer, music, art & drawing. Skill in musical instruments, dance, karate, public speaking & yoga are catered to the students in order to develop their skills in extracurricular activities.

The normal working hours of the school is 9.15 am to 3.30 pm. with half an hour lunch break. Students must be punctual in coming to the school and must not be late to the school.

Students should maintain good atmosphere in the school throughout the day. Class rooms must be free from unnecessary noise and create the right atmosphere for learning activities. They are strictly prohibited from disfiguring any school property and class-rooms furniture with any marks. Heavy fine will be imposed on the students for the loss or damage of furniture with any marks and for the loss or damage of any property as a result of his behavior. Children should keep complete silence in and out of the class-rooms after the first bell.

The morning Assembly prayer, and National Anthem are compulsory on all working days with P.T. Exercise. Prayer should be said in an attitude of devotion and piety. There should be complete silence in and out the class-rooms during the time of assembly. Bible reading and important news may be read by the students in the assembly.
